Refund policy
We hope you are happy with your purchase.
Should you wish to return your item we have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging, in a sellable condition. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
To start a return, you can contact us at info@stonesboatyard.co.uk. If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how to organise the collection of your item. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.
Please note, there is a returns contribution of £2.99 on YETI drinkware, and YETI and Big Gree Egg accessories, and a £4.99 contribution on heavier items such as camp chairs, hard and soft coolers, Expanders, ConvEGGtors which will be deducted from your refund, the amount will be confirmed during the return process.

Returning a Big Green Egg.
If you decide to return your EGG within 30 days of receipt, we will refund the full value that you paid at the time of your transaction, provided the EGG is unused, in a re-saleable condition and in its original packaging. A 5% re-stocking fee will be deducted from your final refund.

You will be liable for the shipping fee, which is typically £50 (some locations have shipping surcharges, and if the strapping has been removed from the pallet there will be an additional re-strapping fee). Please contact us for a quote for return.
The EGG should be returned to us in a perfect, re-saleable condition and in its original packaging. If it is not in the same condition as when it was delivered to you, we may refuse the return. We will get in touch to talk this through.
Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 48 hrs of receipt if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please provide clear images of both the damaged item and the external packaging with the parcel label showing.
Liability for lost or delayed parcels
You must notify us of any loss or delayed parcels, giving rise to a claim within 14 days of the date of despatch. If you fail to do so, Stones Boatyard shall not be liable for any loss or damage.
Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, like custom products (such as special orders or personalised items). Please get in touch if you have questions or concerns about your specific item.
Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.
Exchanges
We don't offer exchanges. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return to let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Christmas Returns Policy
We’ve extended our normal returns policy over the festive period. In addition to our standard returns policy, any items ordered online or purchased at the Boatyard between Friday 28th November 2025 and Thursday 25th December 2025 can be returned up until, and including Friday 23rd January 2026 for a full refund back to your original payment method.

If you’ve received a gift that you’d like to return
Simply pop into the Boatyard or contact us at info@stonesboatyard.co.uk
You will need to provide the name of the original purchaser to confirm proof of purchase and make your own arrangements to return the unwanted items to us. We will issue a gift card for the value of the items.
