We pride ourselves on quick, efficient delivery services.

You have a few options when placing your order with Stones Boatyard.

All orders are sent with fully tracked services from Royal Mail or DPD.

DPD Next working day service, orders must be placed before 2pm
(Monday – Friday) to arrive the next working day (excluding weekends & public holidays).
Please note due to the fragile nature of some products we are unable to guarantee next working day delivery on some ceramic Big Green Egg products, you will be notified on fulfilment of your order . 

Shipping charges

  • FREE DPD Next working Day shipping to UK mainland only for orders of £75 or more
  • Royal Mail Tracked 48 – £3.99 
    only available on orders under £75 and below 2kg.
    (Royal Mail aims for delivery within 2-3 workings days, but it is not guaranteed and can sometimes take longer depending on volume and location).
  • DPD Next Working Day - £6.95
    Shipping to UK mainland addresses for orders below £75

    (If delivery is not the next day, the delivery charge cannot be refunded. Many variables, like roadworks, trucks breaking down, car crashes, flooding, and bad weather, can delay deliveries. Currently, DPD has a 99.2% delivery rate).


Off-shore shipping - £20.00 standard shipping

Off-shore postcodes include addresses in Northern Ireland, the Isle of Wight, the Scilly Isles, the Isle of Man, the Scottish Islands, and the Scottish Highlands. DPD will provide a two-day service.

Please contact us if you need Saturday and/or timed delivery in the UK. The same applies to next working day delivery to Northern Ireland.
Sorry, we cannot offer delivery outside of the UK.

When will I receive my order?

If your order is placed by 2pm (Mon-Fri), it will be despatched for delivery on the next working day unless you choose the slower Royal Mail tracked 48 services, which would be delivered within 2-3 working days of the despatch date.

Deliveries to the Scottish Highlands and Islands and Northern Ireland usually take 2-3 working days.

If an item isn't in stock, chances are we will be getting it back in stock soon. Get in touch so we can reserve it for you and send it out as soon as it arrives.

PLEASE NOTE: You must notify us of any loss or damage giving rise to a claim within 14 days of the date of despatch. If you fail to do so, Stones Boatyard shall not be liable for any loss or damage.

Who do Stones Boatyard ship with?

We use DPD and Royal Mail as our UK carriers. They will deliver to your door and notify you when your parcel is due.

Please be aware that no delivery service is guaranteed. If delivery is not the next day, the delivery charge cannot be refunded. Many variables, like roadworks, trucks breaking down, car crashes, flooding, and bad weather, can delay deliveries.

For returns, we organise collections using DPD Return, Royal Mail, Parcelforce and Yodel shops.
