The YETI Camino Carryall is a tough, open-top tote bag designed for carrying everyday gear. It’s the sort of bag you can use for beach towels, wetsuits, food shopping, boat kit or anything else you want to throw in quickly. It’s more structured and hard-wearing than a normal tote, so it stands up properly and doesn’t feel flimsy.

You can put ice in it, but it isn’t a cooler. The Camino is made from waterproof, easy-clean material, so it can handle wet gear, ice melt and spills, but it won’t keep things cold like a YETI cooler would. If you want proper ice retention, you’re better off with a YETI soft cooler or YETI cooler.

It depends what you’re using it for. The Camino 20 is a good everyday size for a few beach bits, lunch, or carrying essentials to and from the boat. The Camino 35 is the best all-rounder for most people, with enough space for towels, layers, shopping or family day-out kit. The Camino 50 is the one to go for if you regularly need a larger carryall for bulky gear.

YETI Camino Carryall bags are made from a tough, waterproof, easy-clean ThickSkin™ Shell, a heavy-duty laminated high-density nylon and a sturdy EVA moulded base. They’re designed to handle wet, sandy and muddy gear without soaking through or collapsing like a standard canvas tote, which makes them especially useful around the beach, harbour or campsite.

Instead of traditional stitching, the seams are welded together to help create a watertight barrier and prevent leaks.

The material is waterproof and the seams are welded, so they’re excellent for wet gear, splashes and damp conditions. They do have an open-top design, though, so they’re not fully submersible or sealed like a dry bag. For phones, keys and valuables, use something fully waterproof such as a YETI waterproof bag or gear case.

If you’ll use it regularly, yes. They’re much tougher than a normal tote, easy to clean, and useful for all the messy jobs: beach days, wet towels, dog walks, boat kit, shopping and weekends away. Most people end up using them far more than expected because they’re so easy to grab and load.
