Which Big Green Egg sizes does the Rotisserie 2.0 fit?

The Rotisserie 2.0 is designed for Large and XL Big Green Eggs only. It is not available for MiniMax, Small or Medium EGGs, so check your EGG size before ordering. Choose the Large or XL version to match your EGG exactly. The XL version gives more capacity for larger cooks.

What can I cook on the Rotisserie 2.0?

It is ideal for whole chickens, joints of pork, beef or lamb, poultry, whole fish, large vegetables such as squash or cauliflower, and even fruit such as pineapple. The steady rotation helps food cook evenly, making it a good upgrade if you want crisp edges, juicy roasts and a more hands-on outdoor cooking setup.

Can I use the Rotisserie 2.0 with the dome open or closed?

Yes, it can be used with the dome open for fast, high-heat grilling or closed for gentler roasting and low-and-slow cooking. Do not let the temperature exceed 315°C, as very high heat can damage the silicone pads. Keep an eye on the fire and set the vents carefully before leaving it to turn.

Do I need extra accessories for indirect rotisserie cooking?

For long, slow indirect rotisserie cooking, you will need extra kit because there is not enough room to use a ConvEGGtor in the usual way. On a Large EGG, this can be done with the EGGspander Multi-Level Rack, a Large Baking Stone and a Large Stainless Steel Grid. This indirect setup works on an XL EGG too, just ensure you put the right size kit in the basket when placing your order to match your EGG size.

How is the Rotisserie 2.0 powered and stored?

The motor can run from mains power or a USB-C battery pack. A USB to USB-C cable is included, but the plug is not included. The spit, motor and clips pack into the supplied carry case, which makes it easier to store between cooks and keeps the parts together in the shed, garage or outdoor kitchen.
