Yes, the 6L size is aimed at a proper packed lunch rather than just a snack. It can fit 9 x 330 ml cans, which gives a useful sense of capacity, but it is also shaped for food containers, fruit, sandwiches and drinks. For family picnics or larger food shops, a bigger YETI cool bag would be better.

Is the YETI Daytrip Lunch Bag leakproof or waterproof?

The liner is leakproof, but the MagSnap closure is not, so it should not be treated like a sealed dry bag. It is weather-resistant and easy to clean, but it is not designed to be submerged. For best results, keep it upright and use YETI Ice Sheets to help control any internal meltwater.
