Ah hell…. I’m getting more

These are great! Not cheap but you’re paying for the Yeti brand. You’re also paying for the size! Larger ice blocks stay cold for longer due to percentage of surface area versus overall volume. I got two of the 4 lb ones for use in my Petromax 50 litre cool box which is like Yeti ones… a beast. Size wise I reckon a 50 litre capacity will cope well with four of these 4 lb ones which will be the sweet spot in not taking up too much space and to help keep ice and other stuff cold more effectively than bags of ice alone. I won’t use the these to pre cool the box tho… that’ll be frozen 2 litre milk bottles filled with water. And I’ll save these for the adventure!

I have 1 large, 1 medium and 2 small Yeti ice and they keep whatever I have packed in my Tundra 45 or Hopper flip 12 ice cold all day and beyond! With Yeti ice my Tundra 45 can retain ice for multiple days! Unparalleled performance by Yeti once again!

Yeti 2lb Ice Blocks. Another excellent purchasing experience from Stones Boatyard!

This is my 2nd purchase from Stones Boatyard and I specifically purchased 4 of these blocks from them due to the excellent "personal" fast and efficient service they offer. I've yet to use my ice blocks (next week) but they look super quality as is my other Yeti product. I look forward to ordering more quality Yeti products from Stones Boatyard over the coming years for my future expeditions :)
