YETI Rambler Bottle Sling

Bag is a nice accessory and protects the rambler well. Some might consider it overpriced but it’s a great investment

I have not had occasion to attach it to a pack but can see how useful that would be. I am planning to use mine as a sling and have been able to remove the clips that attach the sling to a pack and instead attach the shoulder strap. I would just say that it was a bit of a battle to remove the clips and to attach the strap, so I can't image one would be swapping between the two options frequently. On the plus side, once attached, the clips and/or strap are very firmly in place and you would not be concerned they would work loose. There is also plenty of adjustment in the shoulder strap to suit all shapes and sizes, and to accommodate being worn over one shoulder or across the body.
The sling is really well mode and robust; a good quality product. It has a flat section (where the clips are/would be if removed) and that sits really nicely against the body to prevent the sling rolling around. I've tried it full of water and the strap feels comfortable and doesn't cut in to the shoulder. My 26oz bottle is a little loose in the sling as I believe the sling is generous enough to fit a larger bottle, but I don't see that as an issue. The sling has a tiny drainage hole in the bottom to allow liquid to drain out. All in all, I would definitely recommend this product.
