Brilliant bit of kit

Well put it this way, normally my Yeti purchases come under some intense scrutiny from my partner. She will often ask do we need this? On this occasion, the highest honour was bestowed on the gallon jug when she said “this is one of the best bits of kit we’ve had on the trip!”

Rugged, easy to handle, magnetic cap holder, and cool water despite some days the ambient temp hitting 38C.

I bought the gallon jug specifically to keep water cool for our dogs, whilst we overlanded across Europe this summer during a heat wave. It did not miss a beat. In the constant battle for space / function in general whilst overlanding - and with the added challenge of 2 canine friends along for the ride, the jug came through on top. Very glad I didn’t get the half gallon - as our boys were thirsty! Also it’s the same footprint, so only the height really changes - so if you’ve got the space for the height - go Gallon I’d say!

Fantastic van jug for ice cold water for days I have brought both the 1 gallon and half gallon both amazing just come back from a weekend in the van and still had bits of ice in after 3 nights and days in hot weather top service as usual from stone’s boatyard

A cracking product from Yeti

Got this to be used in conjunction with our Petromax Rocket Stove and our Kelly Kettle, for holding a large quantity of hot water for making tea and coffee and with enough left over for washing up etc on outdoor trips.

I filled the gallon jug yesterday with the above set up in about 20 mins using a small amount of very dry split Oak and the water was hot enough to wash up with after 19 hours!

Stones Boatyard are first class to deal with and delivery was 48 hours from order and package came with a personalised note.Thank you.

Excellent for everything!

A smart, well built and usable flask. Can use as to keep stuff hot for soup and tea or food (excellent for mustard sausages at elevenses!) Or keeps drinks cool (also a great ice bucket or wine cooler, it fits a whole bottle of wine, in the bottle)

Mahoosive and oozes quality

I have a fair few 64oz Klean Kanteen vacuums but wanted this for an ice bucket when camping. Love it to bits and easily gives Klean Kanteen a run for its money. In fact I would suggest that these are slightly more robust! When I get my boat, I’ll prob get a few more of these for cold drinks in the hot weather.
