Is the YETI Tundra 65 the right size for me?

The Tundra 65 is a large, versatile hard cooler for camping weekends, fishing trips, beach days and garden barbecues. It fits 77 cans or 26.3 kg of ice, with one removable dry goods basket included. It is best when you need proper group storage rather than a small day cooler.

Will the Tundra 65 fit in my boat, car or campervan?

Its outside dimensions are 78.2 cm wide x 43.9 cm deep x 40.6 cm high, so it needs a decent amount of boot, cockpit or deck space. It is a good choice for keeping food, drinks or a catch cold, but check your storage area before ordering if space is tight.

Is the Tundra 65 easy to carry and secure?

It has DoubleHaul rope handles, LipGrip side handles, non-slip feet and tie-down slots, so it is practical to move and secure on a boat, trailer or in a vehicle. Once fully loaded with ice and drinks it will be heavy, so plan for two-person carrying over longer distances.

How well does the YETI Tundra 65 keep things cold?

The FatWall design, PermaFrost insulation, InterLock lid system and ColdLock gasket are built for strong cold retention on longer trips. For best results, pre-chill the cooler, use plenty of good-quality ice or YETI Ice Blocks, keep it out of direct sun where possible and avoid opening the lid more than needed.

How do I clean and drain the Tundra 65?

For normal cleaning, use warm water and mild washing-up liquid, then dry it before storing with the lid slightly open. For heavier cleaning, use a sponge or mildly abrasive cloth with a warm water and bleach solution. The Vortex drain system is designed for quick draining after ice, drinks or fish storage.
