Is the YETI Hopper M20 leakproof?

The interior liner has leakproof seams, and the MagShield Access closure is highly leak-resistant rather than fully leakproof. It is fine for carrying ice, drinks and lunch upright, but you should not treat it like a sealed dry bag or leave it lying on its side in the car, cockpit or cabin. Keep it upright and properly closed when you are on the move.

Is the Hopper M20 good for boating and beach days?

Yes, it is a strong choice when you want cold drinks and food but need both hands free. The backpack design is useful for carrying kit down to the pontoon, beach or campsite, and the tough DryHide shell resists punctures and UV. For very wet kit or full waterproof storage, use a dry bag instead.

How much does the Hopper M20 hold?

The Hopper M20 fits up to 36 standard cans without ice, or up to 10 kg of ice only. In real use, allow space for ice packs or ice, food and bottles rather than packing it to the maximum can count. It is well suited to a day out or a small group, not a large family cooler.

Which YETI Ice Sheet fits the Hopper M20?

The Large YETI Ice Sheet is the recommended match for the Hopper M20. It gives extra cooling power while taking up less usable space than loose ice. The cooler also works with accessories on the HitchPoint Grid, such as a SideKick Dry Gear Case or Rambler Bottle Sling, if you want essentials close to hand.

How do I clean the Hopper M20?

Rinse it with soap and water, then dry the inside with a cloth or paper towel. Wipe around the MagShield Access opening to clear dust, sand or food marks, and use a non-abrasive cloth for tougher stains. Leave it open and upside down to dry fully before storing.
