YETI Tundra 250 Cooler

This is a very large hard cooler for serious cold storage rather than a casual picnic box. It suits offshore fishing trips, group camping, extended boating days or storing a large catch, with room for 362 cans only or 110.7 kg of ice only. For day trips or easier lifting, a smaller Tundra or Roadie may suit better.

It is built for maximum storage, not grab-and-go portability. Use the DoubleHaul rope handles and LipGrip side handles when moving it, and plan for two people once loaded. The non-slip feet and AnchorPoint tie-down slots are useful on a boat, trailer or vehicle where the cooler needs to stay put.

It includes one removable dry goods basket, which is useful for keeping food or smaller items above ice and meltwater. For large loads, pack ice underneath and keep anything that must stay dry in the basket. Extra YETI Ice or an ice scoop may be useful if you are filling it regularly.

The Tundra 250 uses FatWall insulation, PermaFrost pressure-injected polyurethane insulation, an InterLock lid system and a ColdLock gasket to help keep heat out and retain cold air. It still needs sensible packing: pre-chill contents where possible, use plenty of ice, keep it out of direct sun and avoid opening the lid more than needed.

Yes. The Vortex drain system is designed for quick draining, which is helpful after fishing trips, camping weekends or large food loads. For everyday cleaning, use washing-up liquid and warm water.
