The drain plug is leakproof, but the cooler itself should still be kept upright when loaded with ice or meltwater. It is designed as a compact hard cooler rather than a sealed dry box, so avoid tipping it over in the car, cabin or cockpit. Use the drain plug to empty meltwater easily after use.

The Roadie 15 fits 22 standard cans without ice, or 7.4 kg of ice only. In normal use, allow space for YETI ice sheets, food and bottles rather than packing it to the maximum can count. It is a compact day cooler for picnics, fishing trips, beach trips and drinks close to hand on board.

The Roadie 15 measures 42.9 cm wide, 28.4 cm deep and 35.6 cm high on the outside, with internal dimensions of 34.5 cm wide, 19.1 cm deep and 26.9 cm high. It weighs 4.4 kg empty, making it much easier to carry than a larger hard cooler once loaded.

Yes, it is designed to fit most standard wine bottles and two-litre bottles on their side. That makes it a useful choice for picnics, cockpit drinks, beach evenings or garden meals where a taller bottle needs to fit without stepping up to a bigger cooler. Pack carefully so bottles are cushioned and kept cold, and keep the cooler upright in transit.

Clean it with warm water and mild soap after normal use, then leave it open to dry fully before storing. For heavier cleaning, use a sponge or mildly abrasive cloth with a diluted warm water and bleach solution. Rinse well afterwards, especially if it has been used around salt water, bait or food spills.
